Hero and Wizard Tournament of Champions

Ethan, Danny, Shawn, Shawn W, and Zion made it to this no-holds barred event.

Winning the overall in the Wizard battle was Shawn with his Dark Elf Sorceress of DOOM, and her stupid HeartSeeker bow. (way to play in the spirit of the of the game). Zion came in 2nd with a Tzeentch Sorceror with  a 3+ ward save vs. wounds from spells. Two  portable warp lightening cannons, and a Liche Priest rounded out the competition.

Winning overall in the Hero Choice was Zion with his Exalted Champion of Khorne in the Armor of Damnation. Danny finished 2nd with his Triad Assasin (oh how I miss the Storm of Chaos) There was plenty of cheese at this event, that saw Skaven Assasins, a Dark Elf Wyche with 8 attacks, and a Tomb Prince with 4 wounds at Toughness 5!

I personally cannot wait for the Lord Tournament to arrive.

Lord General Zion: ( I like the sound of that)
The Dark Elf expedeitionary force of Clar Karond wishes to challenge the might of the Lord of Midgets, Gnant. If he does not wish to fight I will throw down the gauntlet to the Kind of the Mincey Frenchmen, Ramon.

Campaign and Map Creation

Additional Rules:

If you and your opponent wish to play different size games, you should roll a d6 and abide by Lady Luck's choice.

1 = 1500 pts

2 = 1750 pts

3 = 2000 pts

4 = 2250 pts

5 = 2500 pts

6 = 3000 pts

Additional Games and collecting Gold

You can play members of the league in "border fights". The winner of a border battle earns 50 gold pieces that can be spent in their intended way. Each turn you can earn up to 150 gold pieces in this manner, though you can only collect 50 gold pieces from each opponent. (i.e. you must beat three different opponents to earn the 150 gold pieces).

If you lose or draw, you earn no points.

These games do not change the empire points you recieve for your challenge, they are only to promote additional games, against a variety of opponents.

Additional Events:

Due to having seven people in the league, and Grant stating that they rock, we will incorporate the additional events that GW has on their site.

Assasins:
After your opponent has deployed their army, you may pick one of their characters and attempt to assassinate them. On a roll of 4+, you inflict D3 Wounds on the character that may not be stopped in any way.

Spies:

Your opponent must choose their army and show it to you before you select your own army.

Sabotage:

Pick one city, castle, or mine belonging to another player and roll a D6. Mines are destroyed on a 4+, castles on a 5+, and cities on a 6.

Double Agent:

Pick one player. On a roll of 4+, you may choose who that player challenges this round.
